Bible Study Bonus Notes - How Do Other Religions See Jesus?
This is a bonus thought from the Bible Study last Wednesday night. If you missed the Bible Study you can watch it here.

There has never been so great a Figure on the face of the earth as Jesus Christ. Of course, we believe Him to be God in the flesh, the Son of God. Yet this view is not held universally outside the bounds of Christianity. Yet the impact of Christ has been so great that even those religions in which Christ is not a central figure must somehow acknowledge and explain His presence. Below I have shared five different world religions outside of “so-called” Christian religions that attempt to explain Jesus as they see Him.
Muslims
They believe that Jesus was a prophet, but not the Son of God. They believe that He was born of a virgin and did many wonders and miracles. However, they do not believe that He died on the Christ and was resurrected, but rather that he was miraculously saved by God from death.
Buddhists
Most Buddhists give no regard to Jesus Christ and have no believe in Him or his existence. However, some Buddhists have claimed that Jesus was a reincarnation of Buddha who came to earth to “reopen” the way of life.
Hindus
The Hindus have a false god they believe in called Vishnu. They believe Vishnu often comes incarnated as an animal or person. They believe therefore that Jesus was an incarnation of this false god Vishnu.
Jehovah’s Witnesses
The Jehovah’s Witnesses believe that Jesus was created by God, first as Micheal the Archangel in the old Testament, and then as Jesus in the New Testament. They deny the deity of Christ.
Judaism
The views of Christ in Judaism very from those who acknowledge that He was a prophet, to those who reject Him altogether as a false prophet. However all followers of Judaism hold one thing in common, they do not believe that He was the promised Messiah.
