DON'T FORGET YOUR FAITH PROMISE COMMITMENT CARD
Dear Church,
What a great weekend at the Lincoln Baptist Church. Sunday Morning, we watched two precious folks follow the Lord in Baptism. Sunday School classes were full and our busses were full. It is an exciting time for our church.
This week is a special week on many levels. Today is election day, I hope that you are planning to vote today. The unfettered right to vote is one of the greatest gifts we have as Americans. Today we have a voice in the power of our government. There are people all over the world who would fight for such freedom, and even die for it, if it could be attained in their native land. Yet, we truly enjoy the benefits of it. As a Pastor, I do not feel it my duty to tell you who to vote for, but I will encourage you to vote, and I will encourage you to vote for those who are willing to execute Bible-Based principles. As you head to the ballot box today, I would urge you to vote against abortion, vote against drugs, vote against the agendas that seek to remove God and His presence from our country.
Then later this week we have a very special day, Veterans Day! A day set aside to remember those who took time out of their life, or some who gave their life altogether, to serve in the defense of our country and her freedoms. This Sunday we will be honoring those in our congregation who have served under our flag defending our nation.
As we carry through this week do not forget to be in prayer for our church, for our fellow members, and for our country. Specifically, pray that everything continues to march forward with our new building and that we would be able to move in on schedule by God's grace! God bless and have a great rest of your day!
Sincerely in His service
