There are two things that we need every church member to do to help us prepare for the special offering we are taking on "I LOVE MY CHURCH SUNDAY" We need Lincoln Baptist Church to come together as a whole to pray and give for this special offering to be a success.
The proceeds of the offering will go towards helping with expenses involved with the purchase of the new property at 2400 s 11th street. We believe that with the unity of our people and by the grace of God we can take this property and use it for God's work and His glory.
While we have seen God open many doors and have seen, even this past week a couple of good things happen we still need to see God do tremendous things on our behalf. The buyers of our property have secured the funds necessary to complete the purchase. This week they will be performing the necessary inspections on our building in the course of their due diligence process.
PRAY THAT THE INSPECTIONS WOULD BE COMPLETED WITHOUT US NEEDING TO DO ANY MAJOR REPAIRS OR RENOVATIONS.
On our end, we are preparing to begin our due diligence and inspections on the property we are purchasing located at 2400 s 11th street. However, we are still lacking $250,000 to complete the purchase of this property. We need to either come up with this money in cash or secure financing for the balance in order for this purchase to go through. We have already raised $300,000 between the sale of our building and previously saved funds toward this purchase. We have already seen God at work as the owners graciously reduced their selling price by $175,000.
PRAY THAT GOD WOULD PROVIDE THE REMAINING FUNDS NEEDED TO PURCHASE THIS PROPERTY FOR HIS USE.
It is in this that we must see God's mighty hand at work. I believe God has the ability to provide. The same God who took a little lad's lunch and fed 5,000 men and their families. This is the God we are praying to. He can take our little offering and do something amazing with it. We must pray believing in faith that God can deliver for us.
